Uraku Tower is a 29-story condominium located on Kapiolani Blvd and on the mountain side of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The building has two elevators to service a total of 92 units. The building was built in 1989 by Kajima International Inc (contractor and Architect) and the Developer of the project was PISA International Inc. The building consists of 2 and 3 bedroom units, along with a few commercial spaces on the ground floor. The exact square footage break down is: ​​
  • 2-Bed - 1136-1652 sq ft interior + 139-239 sq ft lanai 
  • 3 Bed - 2255-2841 sq ft interior + 779-893 sq ft lanai.  
Uraku Tower was built and designed to be an ultra luxury condominium. Today the building still has wonderful amenities, but the view planes have been impacted by recent development and may see more in the future. It is however the only building with its own concierge and limo service available to owners. Plus owners may use their unit as a business office. Overall, the views may be slightly impacted in the future, but the building is centrally located and offers fabulous amenities.

URAKU TOWER - Neighborhood & Location

Uraku Tower is located on Kapiolani Blvd (1341 Kapiolani Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96814) and is on the mountain side of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The building itself is also just a short distance away to Ala Moana Beach Park, Waikiki, shops, grocery stores, and many local restaurants and eateries. 

URAKU TOWER - Common Areas & Amenities

Uraku Tower has a vast array of amenities. It has an amenity deck that is fully equipped with whirlpools, a swimming pool, putting green, excercise room, sauna, and recreation/meeting room. On the ground floor you can find the on-site concierge and security. There is also a commercial retail space on the ground floor for a restaurant. It is currently Salt and Pepper, which serves in American cuisine focusing on Breakfast/Brunch. The building also features two rare amenities that aren't usually offered in Hawaii condos; here you have weekly housekeeping as well as limo service. 

URAKU TOWER - Views

The views at Uraku Tower consist mainly of Mountain and Ocean Views. Shown below are the views from the exterior lanais. As of 5/10/20 you can see a few empty parcels. These empty lots are the parcels for future high-rise condominiums. This would essentially mean that the view planes will see a few new high-rises in the near future. There are also a few proposed projects that have yet to get permitting that may have some impact on Uraku Tower's views in the near future.

URAKU TOWER - Floor Plate

Uraku Tower features a very simple floor plate that consists of 4 two-bedroom two-bath units on every floor from floors 5 through 25 then on the top four levels are 2 three-bedroom two and a half bath units. On the upper floors you have almost as much as two combined units on the lower floor and you have three lanais.
